On the heels of the 2023 Upfront Summit earlier this year, we have had the privilege of organizing and hosting additional events to bring the tech community together. With our Events Director, Lacey Hulsey, working closely with our team and spearheading the efforts, we've had the opportunity to host over 70 events this year alone with LPs, VCs, entrepreneurs, and operators from all over the globe!

From breakfasts on our rooftop to happy hours to intimate dinners around the city, we’re incredibly grateful for all who have taken the time to attend our events. The people in attendance are truly what make our events memorable and worthwhile.

Upfront City Tour

This year, we kicked off our “Upfront City Tour,” where we gathered LPs in various cities such as Austin, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Washington, D.C., and more to discuss the latest market trends and build connectivity among other LPs, VC, and entrepreneurs over dinner.

Breakfasts and Sunset Happy Hours

Our SF office hosted a small group of early-stage B2B SaaS and fintech founders during SF Tech Week, where they mingled over breakfast and coffee. The team is continuing to host monthly breakfast roundtables at the office, so be sure to reach out if you're interested in attending.

Upfront Partner Nick Kim and investor Jacques Sisteron partnered with The Military Veteran to bring veterans in startups together on our rooftop deck - highlighting the exciting opportunities in aerospace & defense.

Upfront Partner Kevin Zhang and Pragma CEO Eden Chen hosted a live Gaming Founders Podcast Happy Hour with Raid Base founders Stephen Lim and Trevor Romleski during LA Tech Week. You can check out the full episode here.

Dinners with VCs, Founders, and Operators

During Money 20/20 in Las Vegas, Upfront Partner Aditi Maliwal and investor Katherine Zhang hosted a lively dinner with Bain Capital Ventures, consisting of a curated group of operators in the fintech space.

Kesar Varma from our investment team hosted a dinner in New York with a group of local healthcare investors from a16z, General Catalyst, Greycroft, and more to talk about up-and-coming startups, as well as valuable learnings and insights within the health tech industry.
