Christina brings a clinician’s perspective and an operator’s mindset to Upfront’s health and bio investing team. Before joining Upfront, she built and led clinical partnerships functions at venture-backed startups like Fay Nutrition and Equip, where she designed national provider outreach strategies and scaled referral networks across health systems, academic centers, and nonprofit partners.

Prior to her work in startups, Christina managed provider network strategy and risk adjustment programs at Optum, supporting large-scale value-based care initiatives across Southern California. She began her career as a practicing Registered Dietitian and continues to leverage her clinical background to help bridge the gap between innovative care models and the realities of frontline delivery.

Christina holds an M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers School of Health Professions and a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Studies from New York University.
