Anthony leads legal affairs for Upfront. Prior to joining Upfront in 2019, Anthony served as legal counsel at MedMen, one of the world’s largest cannabis retailers, where he focused on M&A and general commercial transactions. Earlier in his career, Anthony was an attorney with Kirkland & Ellis and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where he advised private equity sponsors on a variety of corporate transactions including M&A, corporate finance and fund formation. Anthony received a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
